Ahmad Khalil has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ahmad is currently working as the Managing Director of Risk and Quantitative Analytics at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where they lead the establishment of a Supply Chain Center and focuses on analyzing and mitigating risks associated with global supply chains.
Prior to this role, Ahmad worked at the Defense Intelligence Agency, where they held various positions. Ahmad served as the Chief of the Analytic Development Branch, utilizing their expertise in geopolitical intelligence analysis and incorporating algorithmic analysis and AI/ML into intelligence production. Ahmad also managed a team of product owners, contractors, and engineers, with a significant budget.
Before joining the Defense Intelligence Agency, Ahmad served in the US Army in different capacities. Ahmad was a Battalion Chief Information Officer and an IT Detachment Commander, both as a U.S. Army Signal officer. Ahmad also worked as an Operations Supervisor during their time in the army.

Ahmad Khalil holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus in Finance from the University of Richmond. In addition, they have obtained various certifications including the Knowledge Management Professional Certification from the Knowledge Management Institute in June 2015, and the Network+ Certification and Security+ Certification from CompTIA in June 2013.
