Scott Giard is an experienced Senior Program Manager and Incident Manager at the U.S. Coast Guard, where responsibilities include overseeing the Search and Rescue Program for the Pacific Northwest and managing high-pressure emergency incidents with a multi-region team. Previously, Scott served as a Senior Crisis Manager and Lead Command Center Controller, administering a 24/7 watch of crisis responders and executing executive-level authorities during incidents. With a background as a Senior Search and Rescue Specialist in Southeast Alaska, Scott also has extensive experience from active-duty military service as a Search and Rescue Practitioner. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from American Military University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Everett Community College, along with training as a Hearing Instrument Specialist.
