Kim Glas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Commissioner for the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission since April 2021 and as President & CEO of the National Council of Textile Organizations since April 2019, Kim has a strong background in advocating for economic and environmental policies. Previous roles include Executive Director of the BlueGreen Alliance, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Textiles at the U.S. Department of Commerce, and Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for Congressman Michael Michaud, where significant contributions were made to trade and labor legislation. Kim also has experience in political campaigns and holds a B.A. in History, Summa Cum Laude, from SUNY Geneseo.
