Wendy Martinez is a Senior Mathematical Statistician for Data Science at the U.S. Census Bureau, a position held since May 2022. Prior to this role, Wendy served as the Director of the Mathematical Statistics Research Center at the Bureau of Labor Statistics from October 2011 to June 2022, and worked as a Statistician for the United States Department of Defense from July 1991 to October 2011. Wendy's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Science and Informatics with a focus on Computational Statistics from George Mason University, a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from Cameron University.
