John Vinkemulder is a software engineer at TZ Medical since May 2019, where development of a web-connected heartbeat monitoring service utilizing microservice architecture and unit testing has been a primary focus. Prior experience includes roles as a resident assistant at George Fox University, where community development and conflict resolution were emphasized, and as a computer science intern at Tektronix, where an application interface for a waveform generator was created. Additional positions held range from lifeguarding and swim instruction at VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa to various roles in education and recreation, including a Maker_Hub assistant at George Fox University. John Vinkemulder obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from George Fox University in 2020, having previously attended Portland Community College from 2013 to 2015.
