Randy Smith, PE, currently serves as Vice President of Manufacturing for Prepared Foods at Tyson Foods, overseeing a network of 10 protein production and sandwich assembly plants since October 2017. Prior to this role, Randy was Vice President of Operations at AdvancePierre Foods from August 2015 to October 2017 and held the position of Vice President of Operations at McKee Foods Corp for more than two decades, from January 1992 to August 2015. Randy's earlier experience includes serving as Steam Generator Maintenance Manager at Tennessee Valley Authority from September 1986 to January 1992, and as a Nuclear Design Engineer at ABB from May 1983 to September 1986. Randy holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Thermal Sciences, both from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
