Claire McConway has extensive experience in the legal field, with a focus on corporate and funds law, private equity, venture capital, and cross-border deals. Their most recent role was as Head of Legal - Private Equity at Tyrus Capital, where they were responsible for fund formation, wind down, direct PE, secondaries, and downstream M&A. Prior to that, they worked as a Partner at Wedlake Bell, specializing in onshore/offshore structured investment products and cross-border deals. Claire also served as Counsel at Carey Olsen, advising clients on offshore corporate and regulatory aspects of private equity and venture capital investment and exit, among other matters. Earlier in their career, Claire held roles at Conyers Dill & Pearman, King & Spalding, Dentons, and Herbert Smith Freehills, where they gained experience in corporate and finance transactions under various jurisdictions.

Claire McConway attended Trinity College Dublin from 1993 to 1997, where they pursued a LL.B in Law and French (Hons). In 1995 to 1996, they also studied Law at Universite de Paris II Assas.
