Michael Vu is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing APIs and micro-services, currently employed at Tyro Payments since October 2022. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Optum for three years, focusing on re-platforming legacy systems to enhance performance and customer satisfaction using technologies such as Java, Springboot, and Docker. Earlier experience includes a position as a technology analyst at Citi, contributing to the automation of trailer fee commissions through the TRAC system, and time as a private tutor in Mathematics. Michael holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with Distinction from Trinity College Dublin, where previous undergraduate studies were also completed.
