Sam Sandhu has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Sam began their career in 2006 at Smart Renting Ltd, where they worked as a Sales Negotiator and Assistant Manager while completing their university degree. From 2009 to 2012, Sam held various Sales and Customer Services roles on a contracting basis.

In 2012, Sam joined Hertz as an Ecommerce Business Analyst and Project Manager, where they played a key role in the development and maintenance of responsive sites for franchise countries and partnership sites.

From 2014 to 2016, Sam worked at Carphone Warehouse as a Desktop and Mobile Product Owner, focusing on enhancing products and managing the mobile roadmap. Sam also ensured user satisfaction through feature development and performance management.

Sam then joined Barclays as a Digital Product Owner in 2016, collaborating with development teams and implementing agile principles.

In 2017, Sam joined British Gas as a Product Owner, responsible for developing digital capabilities and improving customer satisfaction scores across mobile and web journeys.

From 2018 to 2019, Sam worked at Lloyds Banking Group as a Product Owner, owning the vision and prioritization of targets while managing user requirements and translating them into solutions.

Sam's most recent role was as a Product and Services Manager at Tyl by NatWest, starting in 2019. Here, they focused on improving customer experience and onboarding journeys.

Sam Sandhu obtained a Bachelor's Degree in BA Business Management with Marketing from Buckinghamshire New University, which they attended from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, they hold various certifications, including SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. (obtained in March 2021), Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance (obtained in September 2016), Certified Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Alliance (obtained in June 2016), ISEB-BA1 Foundation certificate in business analysis from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (obtained in October 2011), Introduction to Securities and Investment certificate from Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) (obtained in September 2011), Certified Scrum Professional from Scrum Alliance (obtained in February 2016), and Prince 2 Foundation examination from APMG International (obtained in September 2011).
