Greg Torkelson has a diverse work experience. Greg started their career at UPS in 1993, working as a Field Support Technician and then moving up to Information Technology Supervisor roles. Greg was responsible for implementing a new software system and providing training to management and drivers. In 1998, Greg joined Ty, Inc. as a Network Administrator and advanced to become the Management Information Systems Manager, overseeing the distribution center's technical support. Greg also hired a flash development team to create online games. Additionally, Greg co-founded two Escape Room businesses, Escape hOUR Room in 2017 and Just Escape Room in 2019. Greg developed business plans, conducted feasibility studies, recruited partners, negotiated purchase prices, and handled asset transfers.

Greg Torkelson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Millikin University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Greg then pursued a Master's degree in Management Information Systems, General at North Central College from 1996 to 1998.
