Mariana Nave is an experienced professional with a strong background in data acquisition, bioinformatics, and research in the life sciences. Currently serving as the Head of Data Acquisition at TXODDS (UK) Limited since October 2017, Mariana has contributed significantly to various projects, including a Google Summer of Code focused on antiSMASH, a tool for mining micro-organism genomes. Previous roles include researcher positions at the University of Azores on agent-based modeling and simulation, iMed.ULisboa on nanostructured systems and innovative therapies for tuberculosis, and multiple internships in biochemical research. Mariana holds a Master's degree in Biopharmaceutical Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Lisbon, along with a Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics.
