Makoto Nozaki is a Senior Vice President at Two Sigma, where responsibilities focus on large-scale platform modernization and application development best practices aimed at enhancing reliability and scalability since October 2016. In addition, Makoto serves as Secretary and a Board Member at The Perl Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to advancing the Perl programming language, starting in December 2016. Previously, Makoto held multiple Vice President roles in Cloud Engineering and Market Risk Technology at Goldman Sachs from August 2006 to August 2016. Makoto's academic background includes a Master of Science in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mathematical Engineering and Information Physics from The University of Tokyo.
