Nicole has also advised clients on a range of securities, debt finance and general corporate matters across a variety of industries, including life sciences, software, gaming, healthcare, diagnostics, renewables, oil and gas, metals and mining and financial services. After Cooley LLP, Nicole spent 4 years as an Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in their Corporate and Finance practice group focusing on project finance, capital markets and credit and leveraged finance. Nicole began their professional career as a Chambers Intern at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda for 3 months. Nicole also spent 9 months as a Women's Educator in Ciriboya, Honduras with CAUSE Canada.

Nicole van de Leuv attended Harvard Law School from 2008 to 2010, where they were involved in the Harvard Human Rights Journal and the War Crimes Prosecution Clinic. Nicole then went on to Georgetown University to get their MSFS in International Development from 2005 to 2007. While at Georgetown, they were a Section Editor for the Georgetown Journal of International Affairs and received a Dean's Citation for Service and Academic Excellence. Nicole van de Leuv finished their undergraduate studies at McGill University in 2004, where they studied Theirtory and Political Science and graduated with First Class Honors.
