Marissa Joehler is an experienced software engineer and principal engineer at Twitch since December 2018, with prior experience at Amazon and SpaceX. Marissa held roles as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon and Senior Software Engineer at SpaceX, having also worked at Amazon earlier in their career. Marissa's technical expertise encompasses developing customer-facing APIs, mobile video games, and app design, with proficiency in languages and technologies such as C, C++, PHP, Python, Unity3D, and various web services. Additionally, Marissa served as a Computer Science Instructor, delivering programming lectures to over 200 students, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Montana State University.
