Jesse Crawford has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. In 2013, Jesse interned with Automation & Controls from GE, where they focused on compliance-related documentation, configuration management, and process improvement. From 2014 to 2015, Jesse worked as an Information Technology Intern at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where they developed a Puppet-based configuration management infrastructure. From 2015 to 2016, Jesse served as an Information Security Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Starting in 2016, Jesse worked as a Computing Infrastructure Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories, focusing on network services. In 2019, Jesse transitioned to Meow Wolf as a Lead DevOps Engineer, and then to Twistle in 2020 as a DevOps Engineer. Currently, Jesse holds the position of Senior Professional Services Engineer at GitLab since 2022.
Jesse Crawford holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology, which was obtained from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology from 2010 to 2015. Following this, Jesse pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Assurance from Iowa State University from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Jesse has acquired multiple certifications throughout their education and career, including being a Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance, a Puppet Certified Professional from Puppet, a GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) from GIAC, Security+ certification from CompTIA, a SAFe 4 Certified Product Owner/Product Manager from Scaled Agile, Inc., and a GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) from GIAC.
