Mariya Shapiro currently serves as the Director of Upstream Antibody Discovery at Twist Bioscience, overseeing operations related to in vivo antibody discovery, including single B cell screening and hybridoma generation, since November 2021. Prior to this role, Mariya held positions at Abveris, advancing from Scientist I to Sr. Manager until the company's acquisition by Twist Bioscience. Additional experience includes a Predoctoral Research Associate role at Adimab, LLC, and research positions at the Mayo Clinic and Grinnell College. Educational achievements include an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology in progress, a PhD in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from Oregon Health & Science University, and a BA in Biology with Honors from Grinnell College.
