Jose Olucha is an experienced professional in the field of biotechnology and synthetic biology. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at Twist Bioscience since July 2020, Jose has held multiple roles focused on scientific technical support within the Americas. Prior experience includes roles at GenWay Biotech, where Jose was Director of Custom Solutions and Protein Purification Scientist from August 2017 to July 2020, and a postdoctoral fellowship at The Scripps Research Institute, where research involved endocannabinoid enzymes and novel inhibitor scaffolds during a National Institutes of Health fellowship. Jose earned a PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Saint Louis University.
