George Diankov is a Senior Research Scientist at Twist Bioscience since March 2021, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles as a Consulting Research Scientist at Stanford University and a Research Physicist at Bleximo Corp. Prior to these positions, George served as a Postdoctoral Scholar in Engineering at Stanford University, where significant contributions were made in catalysis and interface materials engineering, particularly in the design and fabrication of fuel-cell electrodes, as well as in mesoscopic physics focusing on nanoscale MOSFET devices. George began academic pursuits as a Graduate Researcher in Physics at Stanford University, managing a collaborative project on composite materials for fuel cells, while also innovating in the growth of Pt nanostructures on graphene. Educational accomplishments include a PhD in Physics from Stanford University, a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from Stanford Ignite, and a BA in Political Science and Economics.
