Before Twingate, Elad spent several years at PayPal. Elad began as a Software Engineering Manager in April 2018 and held the role until July 2020. In this position, they led a unique joint team of software engineers and data scientists. Elad was also responsible for building and maintaining a high-scale web application that collected and analyzed real-time transaction events. The application utilized advanced technology to detect IP obfuscation and perform device fingerprinting.

Prior to PayPal, Elad worked at Verint-Systems as a Software Engineering Manager from September 2011 to January 2016. Elad gained significant experience in managing software development teams during their time at Verint-Systems.

Elad's career in software engineering began in 2003 with the Israel Defense Forces. Elad held various roles, including Senior Software Engineering Manager and Software Developer. During their tenure, Elad led multiple software development teams and played a key role in building and maintaining web-based geographic information systems used in large-scale projects. Elad also gained expertise in web development technologies such as JavaScript, C# ASP.NET, and AJAX.
