Murali Koppolu is an accomplished Senior Engineering Manager at Twilio since August 2022, with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Prior to Twilio, Murali held several key positions at Microsoft from June 2006 to July 2022, including Principal Software Engineering Manager, where significant contributions were made to the growth of Microsoft Advertising by enhancing and scaling Ads Management experiences. Murali led an 11-member engineering team focused on Account and Ad Management Services and Data Platform. Additionally, Murali served as Tech Lead for major initiatives such as Multi-Account and bulk infrastructure, Responsive Search Ads, and feed management solutions. Earlier career roles included Senior Software Engineer at AIG and Software Engineer at Mercer. Murali holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
