Alex Skorokhodov is a Principal Software Engineer at Twilio Inc. since August 2016, leading three development teams and overseeing the technical direction for high-performance backend systems. Previously, Alex held the role of Senior Software Engineer 2 at Shutterfly Inc., focusing on scalable backend services, and served as a Senior Software Engineer at Guidewire Software, contributing to product development for insurance companies. Additional experience includes positions as a Technical Project Manager at Starview Inc. and Diasoft, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Intel Corporation. Alex's career began in Russia with Java, PHP, and Perl development roles. Alex holds a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Novosibirsk State University, earned between 1995 and 2001.
