Melina Jefferson is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in product development, research, and prototyping. Currently serving as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Twelve since September 2022, Melina previously held roles including Senior Prototyping Engineer and Mechanical Engineer II at Apeel, where responsibilities involved the development of sensors and automation equipment. Melina's background also includes a Technical Advisor position at Natural Resources Canada, focusing on air emission research in the oil and gas sector, as well as project engineering and research roles at the Energy & Emissions Research Lab. Melina holds a Master's of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Sustainable & Renewable Energy from Carleton University.
