P. Eng Sid Meloney

Sid Meloney, P. Eng has extensive work experience in the energy industry and project management. From 2022 to the present, they are serving as the Vice President Project Development at TWD Technologies Ltd. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, Sid held the position of Executive Vice President, Engineering & Projects at Hydrostor.

Before joining Hydrostor, Sid owned and operated Meloney Consulting Inc. from 2016 to 2018, where they provided advisory and coordination services to companies in the Alberta energy industry, with a focus on oil sands and petrochemicals. Sid also assisted Veresen Midstream & InterPipeline Ltd. in pursuing business acquisitions.

From 1998 to 2015, Sid worked at Williams Company, starting as the Manager, Engineering & Construction, and eventually serving as the V.P. Engineering & Construction. During their tenure, they played a key role in establishing and managing the growth strategy for Williams Canada, leading to a significant increase in profitability. Sid also managed the Offgas Processing/NGL Business, improving EBITDA, margins, and operational efficiency.

Earlier in their career, Sid worked at NOVA Chemicals as a Project Manager from 1996 to 1998, and at Syncrude Canada Ltd. from 1989 to 1996, holding various positions including Project Engineer, Construction Manager, and Project Manager.

Sid Meloney, P. Eng completed their education in the field of Engineering with a focus on Civil Engineering. Sid attended Dalhousie University from 1986 to 1989 and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1985, they attended Cape Breton University and received an Engineering Diploma. Additionally, Sid Meloney holds a Professional Engineer certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
