Michele Musto

Project Engineer at TVP Solar

Michele Musto has worked as a Project Engineer at TVP SOLAR SA since June 2021. In this role, they are responsible for designing and installing large-scale thermal solar systems for industrial applications and district heating networks. Their tasks include analyzing technical-functional requirements, preliminary and definitive design, procurement of components, overseeing installation, testing and commissioning, and supporting project control.

From October 2020 to June 2021, Michele worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at MONSUD S.P.A. During this time, they contributed to the drafting of the executive project for the construction of the Mirafiori Nord Power Plant, involving a heat storage system for overheated water with a total capacity of 2500 m³. The client for this project was IREN ENERGIA.

Prior to that, from November 2019 to March 2020, Michele completed a curricular internship at DDS s.r.l. They were responsible for studying, developing, and implementing algorithms and mathematical models for simulating a pantograph lifting system. They also conducted structural verifications using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and developed an easy-to-use database.

Overall, Michele Musto has experience in project engineering, manufacturing engineering, and algorithm development in the renewable energy and engineering sectors.

Michele Musto's education history begins with their attendance at Liceo Classico Statale Pietro Colletta in Avellino, where they obtained their Diploma di maturità classica in 2014. Following this, they enrolled at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2014 to 2017. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering for Design and Production from 2017 to 2020 at the same university. Currently, they are undertaking further studies at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, acquiring an Abilitazione all'esercizio della professione di ingegnere, which is expected to be completed by 2022.
