Bahlakoana Mabetha is an emerging electrical engineer with diverse experience in analog design and energy access technologies. As an Analog Design Engineer at Analog Devices, Bahlakoana Mabetha focused on developing a compact boost output short circuit disconnection circuit, contributing to PCB prototype and IC level implementation. Previously, as an Energy Access Fellow at OnePower Africa, Bahlakoana Mabetha designed a low-cost smart meter for mini grids and programmed Arduino microcontrollers for remote monitoring. Early research experiences include work on power electronics for Robobees as part of a summer research program at Harvard and development of high-efficiency cavity structures at the Laboratory for Nanoscale Optics. Bahlakoana Mabetha holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Harvard University and is pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Dartmouth College.
