Alexa Catao is the Student Outcomes Lead at Tutored by Teachers. Alexa has dedicated their career to education and helping others. Alexa started their career as a Program Coordinator at Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education. Alexa then became a Director of Secondary Content for Teach For America. In this role, they designed and managed teacher development and coaching programs. Lastly, they were a teacher at MESA Charter High School where they taught ELA 12: Changemakers. Alexa is currently pursuing their EdD at Northeastern University.

Alexa Catao completed a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching at Brown University. Alexa also holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Amherst College.

Alexa Catao works with Annie Johansen - Head of Operations, Beth Gibbons - Head of Partnerships & Advocacy. Their manager is Rahul Kalita, Co-Founder.
