Rachel Vidrine's work experience begins in 2001 as a Market Research Assistant at Restaurant Insights. In 2003, they joined Wake Technical Community College as a Web Services Librarian, a role they held until 2007. During this time, they also served as a Campus Librarian for Western Wake. In 2007, Rachel began working as a Freelance Web Designer, Developer, and Content Manager. In 2008, they took on a role as an Online Tutor at Tutor.com, specializing in English and essay writing. Rachel was later promoted to Tutor 2 in 2015.

Rachel Vidrine has a diverse education history. Rachel completed a Graduate Certificate in Technical/Professional Communication from East Carolina University in 2015-2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Certificate in Web Developer from Wake Technical Community College in the years 2008-2011. In 2002-2003, Rachel received their Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina. Lastly, they earned their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Carolina Upstate during the period of 1998-2000.
