Gurjot Rai has diverse work experience in various industries. Starting in 2009, Gurjot worked at Domino's as a restaurant team member. In 2011, Gurjot became a restaurateur at Little India, where they worked for over a decade until 2022. During their time at Little India, Gurjot also took on the role of Catering Event Manager from 2018 to 2019.
