Max Gustofson is a seasoned design leader with extensive experience in product design, UX research, and content design. Currently serving as Director Of Product Design at Turo since September 2021, Max leads a team focusing on various aspects of guest experiences, including self-service enhancements, trip experiences, and support processes. Prior to Turo, Max was Director Of Product Design at Outdoorsy, where responsibilities included team management and creative direction. Max's earlier career includes impactful roles at Lyft, Sonos, Earnest Inc., and Apple, showcasing a strong record of mentoring, strategic planning, and innovation in design. Max holds a Master of Science in Mass Communications with a focus in Art Direction from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from San Jose State University.
