Derek Labahn, ARM, currently serves as Senior Manager of Claims Operations at Turo, a position held since January 2017, with a progressive career at the same company encompassing roles from Claims Associate to Senior Manager. In addition, Derek is a Co-Founder of The Loop AZ since May 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Claims Specialist at State Farm ®, where responsibilities included managing a personal inventory of property claims and providing exceptional customer service. Derek's background also includes service as a Medic/EMT in the South Dakota Army National Guard, providing medical care to soldiers and overseeing medical supervision in military training settings. Academically, Derek earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and an Associate's degree in Military Science and Operational Studies from Black Hills State University between 2009 and 2014.
