Wajid Malik has a diverse professional background in the telecommunications industry. Wajid started their career in 2004 as a Transmission Planning Engineer at Myson Engineering System, where they worked until 2006. From 2006 to 2007, Wajid worked as a Transmission Planning Engineer at Huawei Pakistan.
In 2008, they joined NEC as a Senior System Engineer, where they gained extensive experience in Microwave Network design, deployment, operation, and maintenance. Wajid also played a key role in IP operations, network expansions and upgrades, network performance improvement, and optimizing costs. Wajid worked at NEC for 9 years until 2015.
Following their time at NEC, Wajid took on the role of Microwave TXN Engineer at NEC cooperation from 2015 to 2017. During this time, they successfully managed large-scale projects and delivered assignments within budget and on time. Wajid continued to work on various aspects of MW network operations, including NMS/DCN, IP/VLAN/QoS planning, and capex & opex optimization.
Most recently, Wajid joined Turnotech Inc. in 2023 as the Director of Sale and Business Development.
Wajid Malik attended Pine Hills Public School from 1995 to 1997, where they pursued a High School degree with a focus on Pre-Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at Mirpur University of Engineering from 1998 to 2003, earning an Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
