Tom Perrin has been working in the tech industry since 2008. Tom began their career at SCIPROOF LLC as a Technical Writer and Software Engineer. In 2010, they moved to ErrNET LLC where they held the same role. In 2018, they joined Sensentia as a NLP Knowledge Engineer, where they worked on artificial intelligence to simplify the health insurance industry. In 2020, they joined SpotOn Transact, Inc. (SpotOn) as a Channel Partnerships, and in 2021 they moved to Turnkey Processing, LLC in the same role.

Tom Perrin is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Molecular Biology at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Houston Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Biochemistry from Oregon Graduate Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry, and Philosophy from Lewis & Clark College.
