Rebecca Rhodes, PhD, is a Senior UX Researcher at Turnitin since January 2024, previously serving as a Senior Quantitative User Experience Researcher at Meta from October 2021 to June 2023, where extensive UX research on the FB App Feed was conducted. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Behavioral Scientist at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, providing expertise to government clients, and leading various research projects related to cognitive biases and machine learning evaluation. Rebecca also held a PhD candidacy and research role at the University of Michigan, focusing on human reasoning and decision-making, and served as a Research Intern/Consultant at Educational Testing Service. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cognition & Cognitive Neuroscience and an MA in Statistics from the University of Michigan, as well as a BS in Psychology from Texas A&M University.
