Rachel Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Rachel is currently a Principal Software Engineer at Turnitin, where they have been promoting the development of the Design Library and leading the Micro-frontend for Rubrics in Stencil JS. Prior to this, Rachel worked at WhiteHat Security as a Senior Software Engineer.

Before that, they were a Software Engineer at ModCloth, where they developed applications and served as the Team Lead for the Warehouse Management System project. Rachel's experience also includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Vocollect Healthcare Systems, where they contributed to projects focused on creating voice recognition applications for documenting patient care in healthcare settings.

Rachel has also worked at Field Expert, Inc. as a Senior Software Developer, Consultant, and Trainer, where they were responsible for leading development projects and conducting training seminars. In addition, Rachel has worked as a Software Developer at Psychology Software Tools, Inc. and as a Teaching Assistant and Grader at the University of Pittsburgh.

Rachel Thompson attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
