Mari Silipo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mari currently holds the position of President at TurningArt, a role they assumed in July 2021. Before this, from January 2018 to July 2021, they served as the Head of Art Advisory and Manager of Curation and Accounts at TurningArt. Prior to that, they worked as an Art Advisor from June 2013 to November 2014 and as an Artist Community Associate from October 2011 to May 2013 at TurningArt.

Mari Silipo attended Deerfield Academy from 2001 to 2005 for their high school education. Mari then went on to the University of Southern California from 2005 to 2006 to study Studio Art. From 2006 to 2009, they attended the University of Vermont where they pursued a B.A. degree with a focus on Studio Art, Art History, and Anthropology. Additionally, in 2007, Mari attended the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica in Venice, Italy, though there is no information available about the degree or field of study during that time.
