Michael R. Hernandez has a diverse work experience. Michael R. started their career in 2000 at FleishmanHillard, where they worked as a Production & Purchasing Manager, managing design, printing, and b-roll production for various key client campaign projects. Michael R. then moved on to NuPress Commercial Printing, where they worked as a New Business Development Manager from 2004 to 2009. After this, they joined Bayshore Grove Management, dba McDonald's, as the Co-Owner/Operator and Vice President of Operations from 2009 to 2014. In 2014, they started working at Turning Point Brands, Inc. as the COO/Director of Operations for Vapor Shark, and later became the Sr. Director of External Operations. In 2016, they briefly worked as a Regulatory Affairs Consultant at GegaHelix.

Michael R. Hernandez received a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Business Administration and Biology from Barry University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they also hold certifications in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) from American Amicable, and they are a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) from Georgetown University. Additionally, they have pursued a Human Resource Certification from Barry University and obtained a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent certification from the Georgia Real Estate Commission. Michael R. is also certified in ServSafe Certification and Proctorship from the National Restaurant Association.
