Darren Puyat has over 20 years of work experience in various roles in the IT industry. Darren started their career at Blockbuster as a Lead Customer Service Representative from 2001 to 2005. Darren then moved on to Southern Cross Healthcare where they worked as a Prior Approval Team Knowledge Specialist from 2006 to 2010, and later as a System Support Analyst from 2010 to 2014. Darren then joined Datacom as a System Support Analyst from 2014 to 2017. After that, they worked at timbre Digital, initially as a Desktop Services Specialist from 2017 to 2021, and then as an Incident Manager from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are employed at Turners Automotive Group as a Lead System Analyst starting from 2023. Throughout their career, Darren has shown expertise in automating tasks, leveraging data analytics, monitoring server performance, and efficiently handling high priority incidents.

Darren Puyat has a diploma in Systems Technology with a specialization in Network and System Administration/Administrator from Computer Power, which they earned from 2009 to 2012. Darren also attended Howick College from 1997 to 2001. In 2022, Darren completed courses in Programming with Python and Computer Science from CS50. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert in December 2022, and various edX certificates in Computer Science for Python Programming and Introduction to Programming with Python, as well as Introduction to Computer Science, obtained in 2022 and 2023.
