Tamera E. Howell-Robinson is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the public sector, currently serving as Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Turks and Caicos Islands Government since September 2002, with a focus on the Ministries of Health, Agriculture, Sports and Human Services, as well as Education, Youth, Sports and Culture. Previous roles include Education Officer, responsible for the oversight of private schools and educational programs, and Teacher, managing educational objectives. In addition to government service, Tamera held the interim position of Chief Executive Officer at the TCI National Health Insurance Board, overseeing healthcare financing and administration. Earlier experience includes developing and administering a Christian school at Whole Gospel Christian Academy. Tamera holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literatures in English from The University of the West Indies and further education from Walden University.
