Mehmet Onay, MBA, is an accomplished banking and finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey since 2005. Currently serving as Deputy Director of the Technical Support Division at the Banknote Printing Plant, Mehmet oversees budgeting, procurement, and accounting functions. Previously, roles included advising at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and leadership positions within the Banking and Financial Institutions Department, where responsibilities encompassed financial stability, macro-prudential policy, and international regulatory compliance. Internationally recognized for contributions to the Financial Stability Board's country peer review, Mehmet holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Finance from HEC Paris and a B.A. in Banking and Finance from Bilkent University.
