Sukru Akif Erturk has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently serving as a manager at Turkish Aerospace since July 2017, where responsibilities include directing a research center focused on various application-oriented aerospace systems and technology developments. Sukru has held multiple engineering roles, including lead engineer for flight control law algorithm design, aircraft performance design engineer, and modeling & simulation design engineer, contributing significantly to projects involving flight control systems, aircraft dynamics, and unmanned air vehicle automation. In addition to industry roles, Sukru has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in flight dynamics and engineering analysis at Istanbul Technical University and The University of Texas at Arlington. Sukru earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and has a strong educational background with degrees from Istanbul Technical University and the University of Glasgow.
