Damla Birol serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Türk Tuborg since March 2003. In addition, Birol holds multiple board positions including Independent Board Member at Eti, Independent Board Member at Dogan Egmont Yayincilik, and Board Member at İstanbul Modern, all starting in 2022. Previously, Birol served as Independent Board Member at Pınar Su ve İçecek and DYO from 2022 to 2024. Prior to current roles, Birol was the Sales & Marketing Director at Emsan Holding from 1996 to 1998 and held various marketing positions at Procter & Gamble in Canada and Turkey from 1989 to 1995. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Indiana University Bloomington (1987-1989) and a BA in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University (1982-1986), complemented by a high school education at Robert College (1975-1982).
