Diego Avelino Rios is a seasoned professional in sports management with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Review Advisory Council Member at Harvard Business Review since May 2024, Diego has held a significant role as Head of the Sports and Recreation Department at Empresa Pública para la Gestion del Turismo y el Deporte de AndalucÃa S.A since July 2008, where responsibilities include designing and implementing strategic plans for multiple sports complexes and high-performance centers. Previous roles include Managing Director for AndalucÃa Masters and the AndalucÃa Tennis Experience, along with senior advisory positions at Junta de AndalucÃa and logistics management for major sporting events like the 2005 UCI Road World Championships.
