Stuart Watt has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Stuart'smost recent role was as the Chief Technology Officer at turalt - the technology of empathy, where they utilized AI to increase empathy within companies. Stuart is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Meet-O-Matic. Stuart has also worked at the University Health Network as a Scientific Research Associate, where they developed tools for collaboration and decision-making in personalized medicine. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientific Associate at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. Stuart has also held positions as the Chief Technology Officer at Meet-O-Matic and as a Senior Product Developer at Information Balance, Inc. Stuart has extensive academic experience, having served as a Reader (Associate Professor) at Robert Gordon University and as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at The Open University. Earlier in their career, Stuart worked as a Consultant at Scientia Ltd and as a Principal Engineer at Plessey Company plc.

Stuart Watt completed their Bachelor of Science (honours) degree in Computer Science from the University of York from 1982 to 1985. Later, they pursued their PhD in Cognitive Science from The Open University, which they successfully obtained between 1991 and 1997.
