Michael Hay is the Founder and CTO of Tumult Labs, a position held since July 2019. With a robust academic background, Michael served as an Associate Professor and previously as an Assistant Professor at Colgate University from July 2012 to June 2024. Prior experiences include roles as a Research Data Scientist at the U.S. Census Bureau, a Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University, and a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Michael's professional journey started as a Program Manager at Second Nature. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, as well as an MS and an AB in Computer Science from the same institution and Dartmouth College, respectively.
