Matthew joined Tula in 2008, bringing to the company his ability to turn highly advanced engine concepts into real-world commercial solutions. He now oversees all of Tula's powertrain engineering efforts. Prior to joining Tula, Matthew worked for Ford Motor Company, conducting fuel efficiency research on heavily downsized turbocharged gasoline engines. He conducted research on hydrogen engines and co-designed a combustion member that achieved record fuel efficiency levels. He also served as a powertrain resident engineer at the lead F-150 assembly plant, supporting a major launch and ongoing production.
