Wes represents clients at the trial-court level who are charged with state and federal crimes. Wes’ criminal-defense practice also includes handling direct appeals and post-conviction matters. Prior to joining the firm, Wes was an associate in the White Collar and Government Litigation practice group at Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP. He also previously served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia, litigating direct appeals in non-death penalty murder cases and post-conviction proceedings, and as a Law Clerk for the Hon. William W. Caldwell, Hon. Susan E. Schwab, and Hon. Jennifer P. Wilson of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. During his time as a federal law clerk, Wes developed a strong working knowledge of the Federal Rules of Procedure, the United States Sentencing Guidelines, and the federal-sentencing process.

Wes is currently a member of the CJA Panel for the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and on the Court-Appointed Counsel List for witnesses required to testify before Pennsylvania Investigating Grand Juries.
