Matthew Cocklin is a Partner in the Construction, Engineering and Procurement Group at Devonshires, specializing in construction dispute resolution since April 2013. Recognized as a young partner and future star in The Legal 500, Matthew has received multiple accolades for legal research and writing, including the Hudson Prize and Master Thesis Prize from the Society of Construction Law and a commendation from the Brooking Prize. Prior to joining Devonshires, Matthew held various roles at Mott MacDonald from November 2004 to April 2013, culminating in the position of Practice Leader for Contracts & Dispute Resolution Consultancy. Matthew holds an MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution from King's College London and has completed various legal-related qualifications from reputable institutions, including the University of Bristol and the University of Kent.
