Robert Sykes has a diverse work experience in video editing and digital imaging technician roles. Robert worked as an Assistant Video Editor / DIT at Tubi, where they used Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve for project organization and developed LUTs for dailies. Robert also worked as a Video Editor at Art Riley and Anacaona Pictures, where they edited documentaries that gained recognition and won awards. Additionally, they served as a Trailer Editor at Rustic Road Productions and Savannah College of Art and Design, where they edited picture, sound, music, and created visual effects. In their roles as an Assistant Video Editor and Digital Imaging Technician, they organized raw media, managed data, created backups, synced audio/video, and pre-edited scenes.

Robert Sykes attended the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2017 to 2021. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in Film and Television.
