Mehmet Kabasakal, PhD, is an experienced engineer specializing in systems design and integration within the telecommunications and defense sectors. Currently serving as Team Leader at TUALCOM since July 2021, Mehmet leads a team focused on the design of 4G/5G Remote Radio Units and V2X module systems. Previously, as Lead Systems Engineer at SDT Space And Defence Technologies from January 2017 to July 2021, Mehmet was instrumental in the Korean Fighter Aircraft Program, emphasizing system architecture and integration. Earlier roles included Senior Systems Engineer at Aselsan, where contributions were made to the testing of HF, V/UHF systems, and Specialist Systems Design Engineer at MIKES Microwave Electronic Systems, contributing to architectural design and algorithm deployment for various digital receivers. Mehmet holds a PhD, MS, and BS in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Hacettepe University, with education spanning from 2003 to 2018.
