Omar Hertgers, MD, is a radiology resident at Leiden University Medical Center, specializing in neuro and breast radiology, and is currently pursuing a PhD focused on the application of AI in clinical radiological workflow. Omar has a diverse background in medical innovation as a co-founder of TIM Solutions and FluidBalance, contributing to technological advancement in medicine. Other notable experiences include serving as a medical officer for TT Circuit Assen, working as an ANIOS Neurosurgery at Haaglanden Medisch Centrum, and conducting research on non-invasive treatments for brain arteriovenous malformations at VUmc.
